We had been driving for some time, it was my first visit to the country, everything was exciting and full of novelty...
What caught my eye were the many concrete skeletons of houses, scattered around in the landscape, most of them in the most beautiful locations. In the middle of a field of olive trees, next to a deserted country lane or on top of a hill with view over the sea. One can only imagine the dreams of the people who started building these houses, who now lay abandoned, overgrown by nature, as the dreams rest in their minds, overgrown by the bitter facts of reality.
